Pictures - June 10-13, 2024

Picture week is a REQUIRED pre-dress rehearsal event.  Photo packages will be available for purchase.  All dancers will participate in a group photo and have the option for an individual photo.  Dancers will then be escorted to the next room to practice their dance in costume. 

Please arrive at your scheduled time with Hair & Makeup complete, ready to put on costumes and strike a pose!  All order forms should be printed and filled out BEFORE arrival.  Please contact Misty with any photo purchase questions.  Misty's contact information is listed on the order form.

To ensure we get the best quality photos, both the photo room and rehearsal room will be closed to parents.  The lobby viewing screen will remain on.

Non-Dress Rehearsal

*At Be Famous Dance Center*

All dancers and backstage volunteers must attend this rehearsal.  Dancers should wear BFDC uniforms and bring all shoes in a laundry basket labeled with their first and last names.  We will run the full show to prepare dancers and volunteers for backstage transitions.

Due to limited space, only dancers and backstage volunteers will be allowed in the building during this rehearsal.


Dress Rehearsal

Saturday June 15, 2024

Call Time - 9:30am

*At Benton Heights Elementary School of the Arts*

Call times indicated are the time the dancer needs to be lined up at the check-in table fully dressed with hair and make-up ready to go on stage!  We ask that only 1 adult per dancer attend dress rehearsal.  Parents/guardians attending dress rehearsal will receive a wristband with their dancer's name on it.  You will need this wristband to enter dress rehearsal AND to pick up your dancer after both dress rehearsal and recital.  Please come dressed and ready in your first costume.

Dress rehearsal is a "Stop & Go" rehearsal.  This may take longer than the running show time.  Please be patient.  The goal of dress rehearsal is to make sure each dancer feels comfortable on the stage, able to locate their spots on the stage and get a practice run in before show time!

Dancers will need a laundry basket labeled with their first and last names to carry all shoes and costumes to and from the dressing rooms.  Laundry baskets help volunteers keep the dressing rooms organized by allowing dancers to have a designated place to drop items in when changing to help eliminate items getting mixed up between dancers.  

Please send a change of clothes for dancers to put on over their costume/nude leotard and tights for dismissal after dress rehearsal.  Dancers & volunteers will reorganize costumes and shoes back into their baskets at the end of dress rehearsal before dismissing for a lunch break.  Dancers will need to take their 1st costume with them at dismissal to arrive for the show call time dressed and ready.  All additional costumes and shoes will stay in the dressing rooms during lunch break for showtime!

Call Time - 2:30pm

Dancers will need to check in and report to their dressing rooms wearing their first costume at call time.  Dancers will stay backstage in their assigned dressing area with backstage volunteers for the entire show.  At the end of the show, all dancers will go on stage for bows and awards presentations.

Dancer pick-up will happen from the check-in table in the front lobby.
